Questions to be addressed

1. Can 40 elite cows be theoretically selected, approximately 10% of those recorded, for use in a future genetic improvement programme?
2. How best can we do this using the data that have been collected? Are there alternative ways of estimating overall lactation milk production and what is the implication of each approach?
